Sickness didn't stop the show however, and the company celebrated their opening on the originally planned March 12- last night! Tonight's episode of GLEE -- titled 'Transitioning' -- saw the return of Alex Newell's character 'Unique,' who shows up at McKinley High to support Coach Beiste, now Sheldon, who has recently come out as transgender. Go behind the scenes with director Dante Di Loreto and Newell as they discuss the importance of a storyline like this!

Today in 1999, You're A Good an Charlie Brown opened at the Ambassador Theatre, where it ran for 149 performances. A 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, the show is based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. THe 1999 revival featured new dialogue by Michael Mayer, who also directed, and additional songs and orchestration written by Andrew Lippa; choreography was by Jerry Mitchell. The cast featured Anthony Rapp, Kristin Chenoweth, and Roger Bart.

Sean Hayes (Broadway's Promises Promises, NBC's SMASH) served as guest host on last night's THE LATE LATE SHOW on CBS. The talented actor opened the show with a rousing musical performance.
