Last night, the cast of Hello, Dolly! celebrated a milestone birthday of their leading lady, Bernadette Peters, with an on-stage surprise party in front of a sold-out audience.

Broadway's new Dolly, Bernadette Peters, turns 70 today, and she's celebrating in style! Today between shows, the company of HELLO, DOLLY! celebrated and sang her 'Happy Birthday' as she blew out her candles!

Last night, two-time Tony Award celebrated her much anticipated return to Broadway as Dolly Gallagher Levi in the most successful and beloved production of the year, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Hello, Dolly!.

Ghostlight Records celebrates the premiere cast recording of the musical Kurt Vonnegut's God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater - based on the recent production by the New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center musical theater series - with a special new "Making of the Cast Album" video featuring exclusive footage from the recording session and stage production, in addition to commentary from the cast and creative team.

BroadwayWorld was in the rehearsal room with the cast today, where they treated us to a sneak peek of 'Till Then' (performed by Santino Fontana and Christiane Noll) and 'Sit Down, John'.

Anastasia will be led by Christy Altomare and Derek Klena. Klena and Altomare have worked together before in the revised production of CARRIE off-Broadway, directed by ALLEGIANCE's Stafford Arima. Today we're looking back on that production with a video of Altomare and Klena singing 'You Shine' from the CARRIE cast recording release event.

The world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy Bullets Over Broadway, written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film, will begin preview performances tomorrow, March 11 and officially open Thursday, April 10, 2014 at The St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). The new musical will be directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award winner Susan Stroman. The Old Globe presents the world premiere of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, a new musical comedy with book by Robert L. Freedman, music by Steven Lutvak and lyrics by Freedman and Lutvak. Former Old Globe Co-Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak returns to the Globe to direct the production. A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder is currently running through April 14, 2013 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad PrebysTheatre Center. Fiorello! will be directed by Gary Griffin with choreography by Alex Sanchez and music direction by Rob Berman. The show will run for seven performances from January 30 - February 3 at New York City Center. BWW has a first look at the production onstage!
