Set in the 1950s, and filled with secret crushes, hysterical shenanigans and matters of the heart, this is one Muny production that promises to have the entire family dancing in their 'Blue Suede Shoes.'

In celebration of Michael Urie's birthday, we bring you a special clip of his performance. A longtime friend to BroadwayWorld.com, during his sold-out run of BUYER & CELLAR, he made time to come to JOE'S PUB to be part of our 10th Anniversary. At the event, he performed a special piece, written by BUYER & CELLAR Playwright's Jonathan Tolins, entitled MY PASSION FOR OZ.

The Muny presents Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, beginning tonight, July 13, and running through July 20 at Forest Park. Written by Alan Janes, Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story is directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, choreographed by Josh Walden and music directed by Michael Horsley. The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, concludes its 45th Anniversary Season with the New York premiere of the new musical, Cagney, with book by Peter Colley and music & lyrics by Robert Creighton and Christopher McGovern. Performances begin Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 21, 2015 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Opening night is Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Check out a performance preview below!

Well, as promised ... we have a CHRISTMAS DAY (night) BONUS to our 12 Days of Christmas 'video' features series that ended yesterday. And SPECIAL it is. Once again, we dove into the VAULTS of BroadwayWorld.com on ICE, a benefit we did, back in 2006, with proceeds going to BC/EFA.

We did it! Welcome to Day #12 of BroadwayWorld's 12 Days Of Christmas 'video' features. It has been really fun being your 'Guest Editor' for these 12 days and today, on this Christmas Eve, we, once again, have something really special for you, which had us, yet again, digging into the VAULTS.

The St. Louis Muny's cast of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, which ran from July 14th through 20th, created a video remix of Beyonce's 'Pretty Hurts.' The remix is very much in the style of the show itself, as each of the actors is clad in creepy, kooky, monster-like costumes.

BroadwayWorld.com is very excited to announce that we will be returning to Joe's Pub at the Public Theater in 2014, kicking off a year-long celebration of the community and our 10th anniversary with regularly scheduled concerts, live streams and special events in a BIG way. The concert series will launch on January 20, 2014 with BROADWAYWORLD VISITS OZ, directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell.
