To kick off its 2021 season, Signature presents a new production of Simply Sondheim directed and choreographed by Signature Theatre Associate Artistic Director Matthew Gardiner. Get a sneak peek at the concert with Norm Lewis performing 'Being Alive' from Company.

Hugh Jackman was a guest on Monday morning's episode of 'Good Morning America' to discuss his upcoming film 'Missing Link.' During the interview, he reveals that 'The Music Man,' the show he heads back to Broadway with in 2020, was actually the first musical he ever performed. In 1983, he was cast as 'Salesman 2,' and Jackman jokingly said that not getting the lead in the show is what has driven him the last 30 years.

Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester presents the musical revue Putting it Together. Putting it Together, which celebrates and showcases the songs of Stephen Sondheim, will be directed by Bronagh Lagan and runs from Wednesday 24 October to Saturday 24 November 2018.

On this day in 1971, the original production of the musical theatre classic, Follies, opened on Broadway. 

Some of Broadway's top talent including Will Swenson, Jessica Phillips, Jenni Barber, and Andrew Mueller performed songs from SOME LOVERS, the new musical from legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach and Tony Award-winning playwright Steven Sater (Spring Awakening). This event is part of LC Originals, where artists share new works and demystify the creative process.

Harvey Blanks, Chuck Cooper, Marva Hicks, Carly Hughes, LaChanze, Norm Lewis, Forrest McClendon, and J.D. Webster star in Vernon Duke and John Latouche's jazz-filled fable Cabin in the Sky, running for seven performances for Encores! at New York City Center, tonight, February 10, through February 14. The 1940 musical is directed by Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson with choreography by Camille A. Brown. BroadwayWorld brings you highlights from the show below!
