This week's "Theater Talk" welcomes award-winning librettist Hunter Bell and his SILENCE! The Musicalstars, David Garrison and Jenn Harris. The new, highly provocative TV commercial for this season's smash hit, SILENCE! The Musical, is set to being airing today on most major networks. SILENCE! The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli, opened July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews. The show immediately became a sold-out phenomenon and was recently selected by Time Magazine as one of the year's Top 5 Musicals.

Samuel Larsen, winner of the first season of Oxygen Channel's THE GLEE PROJECT, will appear in his first episode of the Fox musical drama on February 14th in an episode entitled 'Heart'. Check out him performing the Gym Class Heros' 'Stereo Hearts'!

On next Tuesday's episode of GLEE, entitled 'Heart', in honor of Valentine's Day, Will challenges the New Directions to find and perform the world's greatest love songs. Broadway-bound Ricky Martin will travel to GLEE's McKinley High to play 'the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio,' in next week's episode, airing February 7. Martin will soon star as Ché alongside Elena Roger and Michael Cerveris in the highly-anticipated upcoming Broadway production of EVITA, directed by Michael Grandage and choreographed by Rob Ashford. This is the first new Broadway production of the seven-time Tony Award-winning musical since it debuted on Broadway more than 30 years ago.

Though the producers of GLEE are minimizing the themed episodes this season, they have a Spanish/Latin-themed episode coming up, guest-starring Ricky Martin. Naya Rivera, who plays Santana, was particularly excited about being able to perform with the Grammy-winner, as she told MTV at the SAG awards. In the following video, Rivera talks about her thoughts on her character, and what exactly dancing with Ricky Martin is like.
