Every year New Paradigm Theatre (www.nptheatre.org) hosts a party for their 'tribe' of supporters on Giving Day. This year we are hosting a virtual party that is full of performances and shout outs from our favorite Broadway performers and youth. Another video from the Stages Musical Theatre Festival was just released this week. New Musicals Inc. aired 51 hours of live streamcast footage of musical theatre readings, concerts, creative sessions, as well as interviews with writers and producers, all part of the most recent Stages Musical Theatre Festival. The Festival ran for fifteen years in Chicago before New Musicals Inc. brought it to the West Coast about a decade ago.

THE LEGEND OF Julie Taymor, or The Musical That Killed Everybody! gets its world premiere this August at FringeNYC, playing the Bleecker Theatre. The musical by Travis Ferguson (book & lyrics) and Dave Ogrin (music & lyrics) tells the story of the rise and fall of Director Julie Taymor and the behind-the-scenes scandals of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark which has since become a modern Broadway legend.
