Lost in Space is a Netflix Original dramatic and modern reimagining of the classic 1960's science fiction series. Set 30 years in the future, colonization in space is now a reality, and the Robinson family is among those tested and selected to make a new life for themselves in a better world. But when the new colonists find themselves abruptly torn off course en route to their new home they must forge new alliances and work together to survive in a dangerous alien environment, lightyears from their original destination.

Josh Radnor stops by The Today Show to discuss his role in the new NBC musical series RISE. In the new musical drama series “Rise,” Josh Radnor portrays an inspirational high school theater director. He tells TODAY's Hoda Kotb that he was “thrilled” to learn that Rosie Perez would co-star with him: “She's really fun to fake-fight with, but I wouldn't recommend a real fight with her.”

According to the Tampa Bay Times, an enterprising group of students has taken on the task of producing a brand new musical centered around popular grocery store chain Publix.

After a smash run last fall, Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) will present MILES FOR MARY, a new play by The Mad Ones. In conjunction with the world premiere of BLKS by acclaimed poet/playwright Aziza Barnes this December, Steppenwolf Theatre Company has collaborated with Barnes to bring a beautiful lineup of Black artists, queer artists, women-identified artists, artists of color and their communities to Steppenwolf's LookOut Series. The BLKS Salon Series celebrates the themes and conversations sparked by Barnes's play an ingenious portrait of a day in the life of four young black women in New York City.

Artists Repertory Theatre launches its 2017/18 season with Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' provocative An Octoroon. An incendiary satire, this bold start to their 35th theatre season is co-directed by Lava Alapai and Artistic Director Damaso Rodriguez. Yahoo Movies has shared an exclusive bonus scene from the anticipated home video release of Wonder Woman, available in Digital HD tomorrow, August 29th and arriving out Ultra HD Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray, and Blu-ray Combo Pack on September 19th.

"Appropriate," the 2014 Obie Award winner for Best New American Play, will be staged at Westport Country Playhouse, from August 15 through September 2. The story of family secrets is written by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, 2016 MacArthur Genius Grant Recipient, and directed by David Kennedy, Playhouse associate artistic director.
