The company of the new musical comedy, The Last Supper, is getting ready for performances at South Orange Performing Arts Center, where the show will run July 27 through August 7. The Last Supper (July 27-August 7 at SOPAC) is the new musical comedy about five liberal grad students sharing a house in a conservative college town who, in their efforts to save the world, host a collection of their neighbors for a friendly evening of dinner and discourse. Award-winning composer Jeff Thomson made his debut at 54 Below with 'Go Where The Love Is' last week, January 20. The evening will highlight material from the upcoming musicals Pump Up the Volume, Trails, and Jawbreaker, as well as several yet-to-be-revealed projects. On April 1st, 'Miles Of Time' from the musical TRAILS was featured on New Day Northwest Seattle. Kirsten DeLohr Helland, who plays the lead role of Amy in Village Theatre's new musical TRAILS, performed, accompanied on piano by Music Director R.J. Tancioco. The two then joined host Margaret Larson to talk about the musical, which runs through April 21 at Village Theatre in Issaquah and April 26 - May 19 at Village Theatre in Everett. JAWABREAKER is a new musical based on the 1999 film starring Rose McGowan, Julie Benz, Judy Greer and Rebecca Gayheart, JAWBREAKER: THE MUSICAL tells the Faustian tale of Satan-in-heels Courtney Shayne and her mean girl minions who play a nasty birthday prank on their picture-perfect bestie, asphyxiating her with a jawbreaker ball and accidentally killing her.

Tracie Thoms (Cold Case, Rent), Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked), and Alexa Green (Wicked) have been added to the all-star lineup of Broadway stars performing at the upcoming concert of music from Jawbreaker, a new musical based on the cult-classic film, on Sunday, December 12th, 2010 at 9pm at the Canal Room in New York City. They join the previously announced cast, which includes Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Morgan James (Addams Family), Carrie Manolakos (Mamma Mia), and Deborah S. Craig (Spelling Bee).
