The new musical Come From Away will begin performances on Broadway on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) and officially open Sunday, March 12, 2017, following productions at Washington DC's Ford's Theatre (Friday, September 2 - Sunday, October 16, 2016) and Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre (Tuesday, November 15, 2016 - Sunday, January 8, 2017), and two special benefit concert performances in Gander, Newfoundland (Saturday, October 29, 2016). Directed by Olivier Award winner Rupert Goold (King Charles III), AMERICAN PSYCHO has choreography by Tony Award nominee Lynne Page (La Cage Aux Folles). Today in 2001, the first Broadway revival of Bells Are Ringing opened at the Plymouth Theatre (now the Gerald Shoenfeld Theatre), where it ran for 68 performances. Bells Are Ringing is a musical with a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and music by Jule Styne. The story revolves around Ella, who works at an answering service and the characters that she meets there. The original Broadway production, directed by Jerome Robbins and choreographed by Robbins and Bob Fosse, opened on November 29, 1956 at the Shubert Theatre, where it ran for slightly more than two years, and starred Judy Holliday as Ella and Sydney Chaplin as Jeff Moss.

Happy Birthday Laura Osnes! Osnes made her Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of Grease. On March 10, 2009 Osnes took over the role of Ensign Nellie Forbush from Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara, who went on maternity leave, in the Lincoln Center Theater Broadway revival of South Pacific. She then starred as Hope Harcourt, alongside Sutton Foster and Joel Grey, in the Broadway revival of Anything Goes. Osnes then played Bonnie Parker opposite Jeremy Jordan in Bonnie & Clyde, which opened at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in 2011. She most recently as the title role in the Broadway premiere of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella.

THE AUDIENCE's Helen Mirren won the 2015 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Play last night. BroadwayWorld caught up with her in the winners' room right after her speech - click below for the actress' reaction to her new achievement!

?THE AUDIENCE's Richard McCabe just accepted the 2015 Tony Award for Featured Actor in a Play for his role as Prime Minister Harold Wilson. He re-joined THE AUDIENCE after the London production for which he won an Olivier Award for best supporting actor.
