The Broadhurst Theatre was the place to be last night as the cast of the new musical Jagged Little Pill took their opening night bows on Broadway. What went down after the curtain call? BroadwayWorld is taking you inside the big night with cast interviews and even some highlights of the show!

During last night's episode of The Tonight Show, Alanis Morissette was one of the guests. Morissette and Fallon put on disguises and gave a surprise performance of 'The Little Drummer Boy' and Morissette's hit 'You Oughta Know' in a New York City subway station.

The new Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill began preview performances just yesterday at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 W 44th St., NYC), with an official opening night of Thursday, December 5, 2019.

For this week's throwback, we are highlighting the 2006 Broadway revival of Company that opened on this day, November 29th, starring Raúl Esparza as Bobby, as well as Barbara Walsh as Joanne. Currently running on the West End is a reimagining of the musical with Rosalie Craig as Bobbie and Patti LuPone as Joanne! Des Moines Performing Arts, in partnership with THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY national tour and the Madison County Chamber of Commerce, just welcomed Elizabeth Stanley and Andrew Samonsky, who will star as Francesca Johnson and Robert Kincaid in THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY's upcoming national tour. The duo performed selections from the musical at the 46th Annual Madison County Covered Bridge Festival in Winterset, Iowa. THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, winner of the 2014 Tony Award for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations, is famously set in Iowa and will launch its national tour at the Des Moines Civic Center November 28 - December 5. On the heels of being named the first female African-American principal dancer for the American Ballet Theatre, Misty Copeland joined the cast of Broadway's ON THE TOWN on Tuesday, Augst 25th in the role of 'Ivy'. Copeland will be performing through September 6. The Huffington Post just unveiled a behind-the-scenes profile of her journey from rehearsals to opening night on Broadway, featuring interviews with Misty and her co-star Tony Yazbeck.
