Broadway officially took trip to the Netherworld last night with the opening of Beetlejuice at the Winter Garden Theatre! Lucky for Lydia, her new house is haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a delightful demon with a real zest for life. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter shows his true stripes, unleashing a (Nether)world of pandemonium, and the biggest sandworm Broadway has ever seen.

Ghostlight Records has released the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn in digital formats today, Friday, June 2. The CD version will be available online and in stores on Friday, July 21. Fiorello! will be directed by Gary Griffin with choreography by Alex Sanchez and music direction by Rob Berman.
