This morning, July 11, Broadway favorite Cheyenne Jackson visited Good Day New York to share a new tune from his upcoming album, due in August, entitled 'Before You.' His first single off the album, 'Drive' was released on May 10 and is currently available on iTunes. On May 19, 2012, a host of performers and dignitaries will take part in the 20th Anniversary Life Ball Gala at City Hall in Vienna Austria. An estimated 40,000 visitors will attend and millions will watch the live broadcast of Life Ball, Europe's largest charity event supporting people with HIV or AIDS. This year's speakers and performers include; President Bill Clinton, United Nations UNAIDS / Executive Director Michel Sidibe, actresses Milla Jovovich and Melanie Griffith, and poet Maya Angelou. Live performances will take place by Scissor Sisters, Gloria Estefan, and Cheyenne Jackson.

The Tony Awards Film Series will open on Saturday, May 12th with the world premiere of Stephanie Riggs' 'The Standbys.' The Standbys follows actors Ben Crawford (standby for Shrek), Merwin Foard (standby for Gomez in The Addams Family) and Aléna Watters (standby for Anita in West Side Story).
