Today in 1996, the first Broadway revival of Once Upon a Mattress opened at the Broadhurst Theatre, where it ran for188 performances. Once Upon a Mattress is a musical comedy with music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer and book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Marshall Barer. The play was written as an adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Princess and the Pea. Once Upon A Mattress marked the Broadway debut of later stage and TV legend Carol Burnett, who originated the role of Princess Winnifred.

Gurney's enduring romance about first loves and second chances, Love Letters- a strictly limited four week engagement on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). In True Hollywood, stars-studded fashion, BWW TV Los Angeles Correspondent and Co-Producer Michael Sterling, along with Co-Producer/Videographer Jordan Santacana captured LA's first official day of summer at the historic, world renowned Hollywood Bowl where an audience of 18,000 celebrated the landmark's 93rd season and 15th Annual Hall of Fame to which the delicious concoction of Pink Martini, pop icons the Go-Go's, and Broadway mega star and American treasure Kristin Chenoweth were honored and inducted.

The Hollywood Bowl hosted its 15th Annual Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame concert last night, June 21. Emmy and Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth was inducted by Carol Burnett, her life-long idol. As she made her entrance, Chenoweth paid homage to her by singing the theme song from The Carol Burnett Show. Later in the evening, Chenoweth was joined on stage by Lea Michele, with whom she co-starred with on the television series GLEE in 2009. Chenoweth and Michele sang WICKED's 'For Good' together.

The Hollywood Bowl hosted its 15th Annual Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame concert last night, June 21, featuring Hall of Fame inductees Emmy and Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth, iconic all-female band The Go-Go's, and the eclectic band Pink Martini. Presenters included Oscar and Emmy winner Helen Hunt, Grammy-nominated singer Natasha Bedingfield, Hollywood icon Barbara Eden, actress/comedienne Carol Burnett, and Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson, as well as a special guest appearance by Lea Michele.

Once Upon a Mattress is a musical comedy with music by Mary Rodgers, lyrics by Marshall Barer and book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Marshall Barer. The play was written as an adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Princess and the Pea. Once Upon A Mattress marked the Broadway debut of later stage and TV legend Carol Burnett, who originated the role of Princess Winnifred. Also featured were Joseph Bova, Allen Case, Jack Gilford and Matt Mattox. Jane White played the role of Queen Aggravain, becoming the first African-American actress to portray a white character on the Broadway stage.
