Mia Farrow and Brian Dennehy began performances in A.R. Gurney's Love Letters at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre this past weekend on Saturday, September 13 and opened last night. BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was on the red carpet to chat with all of the guests as they made their way into the theatre, and you can check out interviews with Tony Danza, Carole Shelley and more below!

The Dennehy/Farrow cast of Love Letters will be followed by limited engagements of award winning stars of the stage and screen that will include Carol Burnett & Brian Dennehy, Alan Alda & Candice Bergen, Stacy Keach & Diana Rigg, Anjelica Huston & Martin Sheen, with many more talented actors to be announced soon. Diana Rigg is appearing with the support of Actors' Equity Association.

A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, Gurney's Love Letters became an instant smash hit that was performed all over the country. The universality of the piece quickly led to the play being translated into 24 languages. In the last 26 years, productions of Love Letters have played in over 40 countries around the world.

LOVE LETTERS is a disarmingly funny and unforgettably emotional portrait about the powerful connection of love. Two friends, rebellious Melissa Gardner and straight-arrow Andrew Makepeace Ladd III have exchanged notes, cards and letters with each other for over 50 years. From second grade, through summer vacations, to college, and well into adulthood, they have spent a lifetime discussing their hopes and ambitions, dreams and disappointments, and victories and defeats. But long after the letters are done, the real question remains: Have they made the right choices or is the love of their life only a letter away?
