Last night, February 16, 2011, the first National Tour's cast of the five-time Tony Award Nominated smash hit musical ROCK OF AGES performed on "Lopez Tonight". The cast, led by Tony Award Nominee Constantine Maroulis (Drew) and Rebecca Faulkenberry (Sherrie), performed a medley of songs including "Here I Go Again" and "Don't Stop Believin". "Lopez Tonight" airs weekdays on TBS at midnight EST.
While making the press rounds to promote his new flick, Green Hornet, Seth Rogan cleared up the rumors once and for all that he will not be starring in the film version of ROCK OF AGES. Rogan tells MTV News: 'I heard that rumor, but I can't sing at all...I would be the worst guy to put in that movie. I saw 'Rock of Ages.' It was pretty good. I liked the music. But I can't sing. I think people should be aware of that...Yeah, I know nothing about any real version of that.'

In a show of semi-permanent appreciation, ROCK OF AGES honored of one of its most dedicated fans and winner of its holiday 'Deck the Halls Extreme Rock' contest, Gavin Knox, this month. For the Christmas challenge, the production invited fans to submit a performance video of a holiday carol, sung in the rockin' style of the hit show. The winner was selected by ROCK OF AGES cast members, including Constantine Maroulis, Kerry Butler, and James Carpinello. The prize package included a pair of tickets to the performance, a backstage tour, a curtain call ovation, dinner for two at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, a copy of the original cast recording, and a Temptu tattoo, applied by the show's make-up artist, worn by the cast members on stage each night.
