Luxury shoe designer Manolo Blahnik has unveiled his exclusive silver patent leather Mary Jane high heel adorned with a Swarovski crystal button as the official stiletto of the production - marking the first time in history Manolo's iconic shoe has been inspired by a Broadway musical. Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The MusicaL began a pre-Broadway engagement yesterday, Tuesday, October 12, at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada, prior to beginning performances at Broadway's Palace Theatre in New York City on February 28, and opening March 20, 2011. Bette Midler said 'A new star on Broadway and her name is PRISCILLA!! So much fun, it's practically illegal!! In fact, it IS illegal in four states!!' Here Bette is after seeing the show in London!

On May 17, 2010 Versatile Broadway performer John Bolton, Tony award-winning actor Jim Dale, renown musical conductor Aaron Gandy and Tony Walton, Jennifer Evans, Kevin Cahoon, Jessica Grove, Noah Racey and Annika Boras partook in The Theatre Museum's 2010 Awards Ceremony. The Awards Gala, which took place at the New York Players Club, was directed by Tony Walton. Aaron Gandy served as Musical Director.
