Iconic singer Cyndi Lauper joined TODAY's Kathie Lee and Hoda this morning to talk about the global expansion of her musical KINKY BOOTS, her struggles with psoriasis, and a couple of new projects, including Broadway work and a new album.

Broadway's celebration of the SCOTUS ruling to legalize gay marriage ranged from in-depth Facebook posts to public speeches. Following Friday night's performance, KINKY BOOTS star Billy Porter took center stage to address the crowd and share what the ruling means to him personally. Check out the full video below!

The Colored Museum presents 11 hilarious 'exhibits' of African-American culture - from the depths of the Celebrity Slaveship to the spinning heights of Harlem. Tony Award winner George C. Wolfe's groundbreaking comedy has electrified, discomforted, and delighted audiences of all colors, skewering stereotypes and redefining what it means to be black in contemporary America. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Billy Porter, it features a wonderful cast with terrific music and dancing, and is a great night out at the theatre.

Kinky Boots took South Korea by storm earlier this year, marking the first international production of the Tony-winning musical. Now according to the Korea Joongang Daily, the musical has taken home top prizes at this year's 9th Annual Musical Awards. The show was awarded not only 'Musical of the Year,' but Kang Hong-seok, who played Lola, also earned a 'Best Lead Actor' award from the Korea Musical Theater Association.

The Humbling, starring Tony winner Billy Porter, is a 2014 erotic comedy film directed by Barry Levinson and written by Buck Henry and Michal Zebede, based on the 2009 novel, The Humbling, written by Philip Roth. NYC-based multiplatform artist Mark MacKillop, a Vancouver native, last year completed an international tour of West Side Story in the role of Riff. The musical brought him to major cities across Europe and Israel, and by way of accommodations, their hotels as well. Rather than a written diary, MacKillop chronicled his downtime with an iPhone camera, taking over 80 high-quality, expertly composed black-and-white and color self-portraits in various hotel rooms, in very little clothing. These portraits tied together the aspects of MacKillop's career that resonate most with him; physicality, composition, reflection, and poses related to dance.

Primary Stages in association with Susan Dietz, presents the world premiere of While I Yet Live by the Tony-winning star of Kinky Boots and Angels in America, Billy Porter, and directed by Tony Award nominee Sheryl Kaller. While I Yet Live plays a limited, six-week engagement, now through October 31 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street - a NEW 42ND STREET® project (229 West 42nd Street).
