Last night, July 23, Idina Menzel & Taye Diggs were joined by Jenn Colella, Megan Hilty, Tom Kitt, Lachanze, Matthew Morrison, Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Adrienne Warren for a karaoke night benefitting A Broader Way. You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. The revival cast featured Anthony Rapp as Charlie Brown, Kristin Chenoweth as Sally and Roger Bart as Snoopy.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS presents a one-night, 20th anniversary performance of the landmark show THE NIGHT Larry Kramer KISSED ME at 8 pm on Monday, May 20 at the Gerard W. A 1967 musical comedy with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, the show is based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. THe 1999 revival featured new dialogue by Michael Mayer, who also directed, and additional songs and orchestration written by Andrew Lippa; choreography was by Jerry Mitchell. The cast featured Anthony Rapp, Kristin Chenoweth, and Roger Bart.

Happy Birthday Anthony Rapp! An actor since the age of six, Rapp has appeared on Broadway in Precious Sons (Outer Critics Circle Award), Six Degrees of Separation and the revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. His films include Adventures in Babysitting, School Ties, Dazed and Confused, Six Degrees of Separation, David Searching, Man of the Century, Road Trip, A Beautiful Mind, Open House, Winter Passing, Danny Roane: First Time Director and Scaring the Fish. His book, Without You: a Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical Rent, about his experiences on and offstage, was published in 2006 by Simon & Schuster and became a national bestseller.

On Monday, June 25th, The Trevor Project honored Academy Award® winner, Susan Sarandon with the Trevor Hero Award, presented by Stanley Tucci. President of MTV, Stephen Friedman also was hand to accept the Trevor 2020 Award for MTV at "Trevor Live" in New York. This high-profile annual event benefits the life-saving, life-affirming work of The Trevor Project, providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) teens and young adults. The show was directed by Tony Award® winner, Michael Mayer. On hand to celebrate were Stanley Tucci, Debra Messing and Eric McCormack, Anthony Rapp, Thomas Roberts, and many more. Hockadoo! The 2010 Tony Award winning Best Musical MEMPHIS just celebrated 1,000 performances on Broadway yesterday, March 14th at the 2pm matinee performance. Film and stage actor Anthony Rapp ('Rent' on Broadway and film) was artist in residence for a week during the Spring '11 semester. Rapp worked with students in several classes in the School of Music and with a class in Dramatic Media. Rapp also participated in a talkback session with TLU students, faculty and staff after a showing of the film version of 'Rent.'
