NFL players across the country have been taking a knee in a show of solidarity against President Donald Trump, who said players that kneel during the National Anthem to protest racial inequality should be fired. Rehearsals are underway for Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical Miss Saigon, which will return to its original home, The Broadway Theater (1681 Broadway) beginning performances Wednesday, March 1. The original production of Miss Saigon opened at the same theater on April 11, 1991 and played there through January 28, 2001.

Miss Saigon: The 25th Anniversary Performance celebrates a milestone of the legendary musical with a special performance, recorded live in London's West End, featuring Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer, Eva Noblezada as Kim, Alistair Brammer as Chris, Hugh Maynard as John,Tamsin Carroll as Ellen and Rachelle Ann Go as Gigi - plus special appearances from original cast members Jonathan Pryce, Lea Salonga and Simon Bowman. STAGE TUBE: Watch a New, Epic Trailer for West End's MISS SAIGON

MISS SAIGON made its highly anticipated return to the West End on May 21, 2014 at the Prince Edward Theatre, in the musical's 25th anniversary year, and the musical just announced it will be around for quite a while.
