Previews are underway for the New York premiere of EQUIVOCATION by Bill Cain (former artistic director of Boston Shakespeare Company), and directed by Tony Award winner Garry Hynes (Translations, Beauty Queen of Leenane). Opening night is set for March 2 at Manhattan Theatre Club at New York City Center - Stage I.

The Manhattan Theatre Club production of EQUIVOCATION by Bill Cain (former artistic director of Boston Shakespeare Company), directed by Tony Award winner Garry Hynes (Translations, Beauty Queen of Leenane) starts previews tonight at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street) in preparation for a Tuesday, March 2 opening night.

EQUIVOCATION Cancels First Preview; Now to Begin on Feb. 10th

The performance of Equivocation on Tuesday February 9 has been cancelled in order to allow for an additional day of technical rehearsal. Previews will now begin on Wednesday, February 10. EQUIVOCATION's opening night remains Tuesday, March 2 at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Directed by Scott Ebersold (Outstanding Director at FringeNYC 2005 for the silent concerto), the play features a cast of 8 including downtown favorites Susan Louise O' Connor (2009 Theatre World Award for Broadway's Blithe Spirit opposite Angela Lansbury) and Boo Killebrew (Best Actor at FringeNYC 2003 for This is a Newspaper, 2007 NYIT Award for Best Featured Actress in 6969).

The Flea Theater has announced a 2nd extension its wildly popular and critically acclaimed World Premiere production of Itamar Moses' LOVE/STORIES (OR BUT YOU WILL GET USED TO IT. Moses is the author of The Four of Us, Bach at Leipzig, Back Back Back and Celebrity Row, a playwright whose sensibility has proven to be a perfect match for The Bats, The Flea's resident company of emerging artists. The production, which began performances on January 29, has been extended for an additional 4 weeks. The new closing date is now April 25.

Moses is the author of The Four of Us, Bach at Leipzig, Back Back Back and Celebrity Row, a playwright whose sensibility is the perfect match for The Bats, The Flea's resident company of emerging artists. Originally scheduled to close March 9, the production has been extended for 3 more weeks, through March 30.
