Birmingham Festival 23 has shared the full evaluation results that demonstrate the positive impact the 10-day free event had on the city. The Festival was created to mark the one year anniversary of the Commonwealth Games and was a celebration of the wealth of talent and creativity that the city continues to platform, develop and nurture.
Following the announcement of its opening event, newly titled One City, A Thousand Memories, Birmingham Festival 23 has announced the full programme of events for the 10 day festival which takes place from 28 July - 6 August in Centenary Square.
Following the announcement of Birmingham Festival 23, and confirmed funding from Arts Council England, local artists Elizabeth 'Zeddie' Lawal and Mukhtar Dar joined the Festival team as Artistic Associates.
