The Triad and Lee Summers hosted the 'Just A Piano Open Mic Launch: A Benefit For Haiti' last night, January 31st. The 'Just A Piano' concept broadened for this series inviting singers to also bring accompanists or pre-recorded tracks, musical instruments or play on The Triad's recently refurbished baby grand. All proceeds from the event were donated to The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and The American Red Cross.

Richard E. Waits, who most recently starred in The First Wives Club at The Old Globe will perform excerpts from his solo musical autobiography Re-invent(i)on tomorrow, Sept. 30 at Foreign Affairs in The Night Hotel in Manhattan. Waits will perform two shows, one at 9pm and one at 10pm.

FIRST WIVES CLUB marks the once-in-a-lifetime reunion of the famous Motown songwriting trio Holland-Dozier-Holland (Brian Holland, Lamont Dozier and Eddie Holland), who created such monumental hits as 'Where Did Our Love Go?,' 'Baby Love' and 'Stop! In The Name of Love' for The Supremes and 'How Sweet It Is (to Be Loved By You)' for Marvin Gaye.
