The 2017-2018 Season at People's Light features iconic and intimate stories of heroism and hope, rebellion and romance.

People's Light presents the regional premiere of Loudon Wainwright III's Surviving Twin. Created and performed by the Grammy Award-winner as a 'posthumous collaboration' with his late father, an esteemed writer and Life Magazine columnist, the production serves as both a moving homage, and 'a pointed musical meditation on the complexities of familial relationships' (Hollywood Reporter).

People's Light invites you to delight in "one of the sweetest and smartest romantic farces ever written" (The Wall Street Journal). Crafted with satirical wit and whimsy by beloved American author Thornton Wilder, and directed by Abigail Adams, The Matchmaker pits wealthy widower Horace Vandergelder against the vivacious and sly matchmaker Dolly Levi in a search for the perfect wife.

Alley Theatre announces the full line-up for the inaugural Alley All New Festival, featuring recent additions - Songs from Mrs. Mannerly, a musical in progress, music by Michael Moricz, lyrics by Jack Murphy, based on the play by Jeffrey Hatcher and directed by Alley Artistic Director Gregory Boyd; The Harassment of Iris Malloy by Zak Berkman, directed by Alley Resident Assistant Director Brandon Weinbrenner and a special Early Draft Preview, featuring works in progress by Kenneth Lin and Janine Nabers.
