Athol Fugard’s incandescent and thought-provoking The Road to Mecca is coming to San Francisco’s Z Below, presented by Weathervane Productions.

Bookings are now open at Computicket for the Fugard Theatre's star-studded production of Athol Fugard's acclaimed play THE ROAD TO MECCA. Eric Abraham presents this Fugard Theatre production in honour of this iconic playwright's 85th year. The play will open at the Fugard Theatre on 27 March 2018, on World Theatre Day, and run for a limited season.

An elderly woman has discovered a great passion inside her, and is torn between the reverend who wants her to rejoin her community and the young teacher who wants her to blaze her own trail.
