The Gallery Players, lauded for its recent production of Blithe Spirit, presents The Pajama Game as the second production of its 47th Season. It will run from Oct 19 to Nov 10. Dayna Grayber and Jamie Westberry will lead the cast in the roles of Babe and Sid, respectively. Gallery alumni Lorinne Lampert and Robert Anthony Jones will again take the Gallery stage as Gladys and Hines.
The Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) was proud to receive two Helpmann Awards at last night's ceremony; two accolades for performances within its 2012 Hamburg Season. As part of QPAC's Australian exclusive Hamburg Season, the first in its International Series presented with the support of Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), the Centre received the award for producing the Best Symphony Orchestra Concert for the concert performances of Richard Wagner's DAS RHEINGOLD by The Hamburg State Opera with the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra.

The Music Institute of Chicago's annual Chicago Duo Piano Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary today, July 12-21 at Nichols Concert Hall, 1490 Chicago Avenue, in Evanston. In addition to offering students coaching, lectures, master classes, and recitals, the Festival includes four public performances at Nichols Concert Hall featuring special guest Ukrainian piano duo Olga and Yuri Sherbakov in their Chicago debut, festival Founders/Directors Claire Aebersold and Ralph Neiweem, and Music Institute piano faculty, all performing duo piano repertoire.

Miller aka DJ Spooky, is a screening of the classic 1956 Korean film Madame Freedom accompanied by a live performance-by violinist Jennifer Kim and cellist Danielle Cho, with electronic music-of an original score created in 2007 by Miller, on Friday, October 26, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in the Met's Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium. The event will also be livestreamed over the Museum's website (www.metmuseum.org).
