Milwaukee Repertory Theater is pleased to announce the complete cast and creative team for the Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights with music and lyrics by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and book by Quiara Alegria Hudes. 

Cast members of LGBT/Broadway non-for-profit group Broadway Sings for Pride will lend their musical talents to Pride events all over the New York City area this June.  The events will showcase and promote Broadway Sings for Pride's 8th Annual Pride show, which will be on Monday, June 18, 2018 in New York City.

Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Auburn ("Proof") will provide opening remarks and Rick Younger, featured actor in "Mean Girls," nominated for 12 Tony Awards, will introduce fellow Broadway performers in a celebration of student playwriting called LEAP OnStage: Rising Voices. The fundraiser will be held Monday, May 21, 6-9 pm, in the event space of National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey, 226 W. 44th Street. Proceeds will benefit LEAP (Learning through an Expanded Arts Program), an arts education organization that serves more than 20,000 students in 175 schools throughout New York City each year. Tickets range from $75 to $250 and can be purchased at leapnyc.org.

Nederlander, Estefan Enterprises, Inc and Bernie Yuman have announced that the Broadway musical On Your Feet! - based on the life story of seven-time GRAMMY winning international superstar Gloria Estefan and her husband, 19-time GRAMMY winning producer-musician-entrepreneur Emilio Estefan - is going global.

Producers have announced a new block of tickets has gone on-sale, now through January 14, 2018, for ON YOUR FEET!, the new Broadway musical based on the life story of seven-time GRAMMY-winning international superstar Gloria Estefan and her husband, 19-time GRAMMY-winning producer-musician-entrepreneur Emilio Estefan.

Today, producers of the smash-hit musical ON YOUR FEET! announced that Original Broadway Cast member Doreen Montavlo (In the Heights, Giant, Flashdance the Musical) will take over the role of Gloria Fajardo - Gloria Estefan's mother - on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.

Effective immediately, ON YOUR FEET! will now play Sunday evenings at 7pm (with the matinee moving from 3pm to 2pm), in lieu of their Wednesday night performances at 8pm. The complete performance schedule is Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 2pm, Thursday at 7pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm & 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm & 7pm.

This is Velasco's eleventh show taking care of Broadway's smallest stars.
