Frankie Grande, Lauren Zakrin, and More to Celebrate Pride Throughout NYC Cast members of LGBT/Broadway non-for-profit group Broadway Sings for Pride will lend their musical talents to Pride events all over the New York City area this June. The events will showcase and promote Broadway Sings for Pride's 8th Annual Pride show, which will be on Monday, June 18, 2018 in New York City. More information http://broadwaysingsforpride.com.

On Saturday, June 2, 2018, Broadway Sings for Pride cast members Adam B. Shapiro (HBO Film's The Normal Heart, Netflix Master of None) and Anne Fraser Dansky (Broadway Inspirational Voices (BIV), Mariah Carey Christmas Concert Backup Vocalist) will showcase their singing at LOFT Pride. They are scheduled to perform around 1:45. LOFT Pride will be held in White Plains NY at Westchester's LGBT center. This family-friendly Pride festival is free to all and this year attendance is expected to exceed 1,000. The event also features over 60 organizational and merchandise vendors, and food trucks. A New York icon, The Pierre Hotel (2 E 61st St & Fifth Avenue) is celebrating Pride with ENCORE, a special benefit performance of its acclaimed Broadway At The Pierre series. The evening will feature many of today's brightest Broadway stars singing beloved favorite Broadway songs. Performers who are scheduled to sing include: Hope Easterbrook (Hamilton, Original Broadway Cast), Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd, Original Broadway Cast), Yassmin Alers (Rent and On Your Feet Original Broadway Casts) Jelani Remy (The Lion King), Frankie Grande (Mamma Mia!), Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys), and more! Broadway Sings for Pride's cast members, Laura D'Andre (Grease National Tour, Hair National Tour, Michael Muenchow (Former Lead Vocalist at Cirque Dreams, Holland America Line), and Kenney M. Green (National/European Tours: Smokey Joe's Cafe starring Gladys Knight, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber European Tour) will sing at
NYC Pride's Family Movie Night. They will be singing songs inspired by the animated movie Beauty and the Beast (the night's featured movie) and pride. The event will begin around 6:30 and start when it the sun is starting to set on New York City's Hudson River Park's Pier 45. On Monday, June 18, 2018 Broadway Sings for Pride will premiere their 8th anniversary benefit concert in New York City at The Cutting Room at 7:30pm! This milestone event will be filled with singing (from pop to Broadway), stories, special celebrity guests and of course, fun! With "Revolution" as the theme this year, couple Anthony Bowens and Michael Pavano will host the show, which will feature Matt Doyle, Frankie J. Grande, Project Runway All Stars' Sam Donovan, the cast of "Afterglow," and cast members from Pretty Woman: The Musical, Frozen, Kinky Boots, Jersey Boys and more!
