Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts announced today its second class of Emerging Artists, recognizing diverse talents, from a visionary filmmaker to world-class musicians to a singer-songwriter currently starring on Broadway.
March brings a new collection of outstanding artists in jazz for its Special Engagement Series. In addition to its weekly shows featuring emerging and veteran jazz artists every Friday and Saturday nights, Jam sessions on Sunday evenings and packed First Fridays, the top names in jazz are arriving to perform at the noted jazz club in downtown Phoenix.
From the legendary Folies Bergere to the Ziegfeld Follies of Broadway to the Fabulous Palm Springs Follies, the theatrical revue has been a staple of entertainment for well over 100 years. The McCallum pays tribute to these wonderful performers with its own Vaudeville variety show.
