Fresh is a self-made luxury designer who is changing the narrative of black entrepreneurship in the fashion industry, while gaining popularity for his signature style and undeniable charisma.  Award-winning theatre company Headlong, have today announced the appointment of critically acclaimed theatre and opera director Joe Hill-Gibbins as their new Artistic Director. Currently working as a freelance director, with a new production of The Marriage of Figaro opening at English National Opera this month, he joins Headlong in Summer 2020. Donna Munday has also been announced as the new Chair of the company's Board of Trustees and will succeed current chair Robin Paxton on the 18 March.

Innovative producing studio China Plate today announces its latest body of touring theatrical productions, in-development work and wider industry engagement for spring 2020 and beyond. The centrepiece of the new season is Wuthering Heights, a new co-production with Inspector Sands, Nuffield Southampton Theatres and the Royal & Derngate in Northampton in association with Oxford Playhouse.

Many may think that the heartwarming and brassy American musical comedy of yore with it's hummable tunes will never be seen again. That the days of star driven shows have dried up. The era when the names of Mary Martin, Ethel Merman, or Carol Channing all but guaranteed a hit musical. Now producers are wary of putting all of their eggs in one basket, relying on a star to stick with a show until it recoups it's investment. Happily...... no, joyously...... Comedy Award Winners 2018 Stiff & Kitsch return to London's Soho Theatre for a limited run with hit musical comedy show Bricking It, directed by Edinburgh Comedy Award 2019 Newcomer Nominee, Janine Harouni. Today, Quibi announced HOW WE MET (working title), a new documentary series from Oscar-winning filmmakers Dan Lindsay and TJ Martin. 

Producers announced casting for the North American tour of the first ever Broadway revival of CATS. The multi-year tour launched at Providence Performing Arts Center on January 22, 2019 and will play 40+ cities during its multi-year tour, including the Fabulous Fox Theatre from April 7-19.

Today, Quibi announced the 2020 class of PRODIGY (working title), a new documentary series that profiles eight athletes who age 21 or younger who are set to become the next superstars in their respective sports. HISTORY announces a new non-fiction programming strand 'History's Greatest Mysteries,' hosted and narrated by Academy Award(R) nominee and Emmy Award(R) winner Laurence Fishburne ('Black-ish,' John Wick, The Matrix, Apocalypse Now and Boyz N The Hood) that will investigate a wide range of historically compelling topics and the mysteries surrounding each including the Titanic, D.B. Cooper, Roswell, John Wilkes Booth, and more. Slated to launch this summer 2020, each program within the franchise will showcase fresh, new evidence and perspectives including never-before-released documents to the general public, personal diaries and DNA evidence to unearth brand-new information about these infamous and enigmatic chapters in history.

Nickelodeon is literally bringing to life the popular animated characters from its Emmy Award-winning The Loud House with the greenlight of an all-new original live-action holiday TV movie: The Loud House: A Very Loud Christmas! (working title). Casting is currently underway for the feature-length TV movie, which will begin production this summer and is set to premiere in the fourth quarter of this year.

Nickelodeon is setting off into new territory with the greenlight of The Astronauts (working title), a brand-new, live-action series following a group of kids who embark on the adventure of a lifetime when they are mistakenly launched into space. Marking Nickelodeon's first production with Imagine Kids+Family, The Astronauts (10 episodes) is currently in production in Vancouver, Canada, with a premiere slated for this summer.

During the 2020 Oscars, James Corden and Rebel Wilson, both stars of the recent CATS, come out on stage to talk about the importance of Visual Effects. The two actors poked fun at the film adaptation, while dressed in cat suits!

The Lowry today announces a new cohort of artists who will be supported by its prestigious Artist Development Programme over 2020.

Focus Features has acquired the worldwide rights to Miranda July's Kajillionaire, which premiered to rave reviews at the Sundance Film Festival. Written and directed by July, who won multiple awards at the Cannes Film Festival for Me and You and Everyone We Know including the Critics Week Grand Prize, the Prix Regards Jeune and the Camera d'Or, Kajillionaire stars Golden Globe® nominated Evan Rachel Wood (Westworld), Golden Globe® winner Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin), Academy Award® nominated Richard Jenkins (The Shape of Water), and Academy Award® nominated Debra Winger (The Lovers, Terms of Endearment). Producers are Plan B Entertainment's Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner, and Youree Henley. Plan B Entertainment's Brad Pitt, Annapurna's Megan Ellison, and Jillian Longnecker executive produced. Focus Features will distribute the film in the U.S. and Universal Pictures International will distribute internationally.

Paramount Network today announced that Mark Feuerstein, Kelli Williams, Daniel Mora, Emy Mena, George Pullar, Amy Forsyth, Ross Phillips, Romina D'Ugo, Bobby Daniel Rodriguez, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Jose Pablo Cantillo and Drew Powell are joining the cast of new scripted drama series Coyote, led by Emmy(R) Award-winner Michael Chiklis. Production on the first season of Coyote is underway with the series scheduled to premiere on Paramount Network in Summer 2020.
