The Haverhill Cultural Council recognizes and helps fund local groups that contribute rich and inclusive cultural experiences to Haverhill citizens. The HCC is supported by the City of Haverhill along with The Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) Local Cultural Council Program. 

 All plays were once new plays. That’s the idea behind Syracuse Stage’s Cold Read Festival of New Plays. Now in its fourth season, the Cold Read Festival has seven different events featuring some of the freshest voices writing for theater today, nationally and locally, scheduled for Tuesday, March 23, through Sunday, March 28.

Ars Nova has announced its fourth slate of 2021 programming including four events from Tuçe Yasak, Tislarm Bouie, L Morgan Lee, and Emily Wells, curated by Obie-winning choreographer and director raja feather kelly as part of the new Ars Nova Vision Residency program.

Ten producing teams will vie for up to $150,000 in project funding at the Black Public Media (BPM) PitchBLACK Forum, an interactive pitching competition to public television and commercial distributors and funders. The high-stakes event culminates the fourth edition of BPM's intensive 360 Incubator+ fellowship, a holistic professional development program designed to identify and pipeline quality Black content.

The HISTORY® Channel will also join the Russell Westbrook Why Not? Foundation, Endeavor, RedFlight Innovation and Values Partnerships to create an educational and experiential campaign focused on the history and legacy of Tulsa’s Black Wall street.
