Today, John McGrath, Artistic Director of National Theatre Wales announced the company's first year of work at a press briefing in Cardiff that was simultaneously broadcast to the world via the internet.

East West Players (EWP), the nation's premier Asian American theatre, has gathered a creative team to develop a new musical that utilizes anime, hip-hop and martial arts. A 25 minute presentation of this work in progress will be performed on Friday, November 20 , 7:30pm at the National Center for the Preservation of Democracy. Q & A discussion will follow.

The Gerald W. As part of its new season, AlterTheater Ensemble, an artist-driven company known for performing deeply intimate theater in downtown San Rafael storefronts, will produce its first play developed entirely from within, and starring Anne Darragh, Will Marchetti, Frances Lee McCain, and Michael Ray Wisely. The comedy was co-written and directed by Minneapolis resident Rob Perez (writer of '40 Days and 40 Nights'). Ryan Miller, front man of Guster, co-wrote the script and composed the score.
