The Vagabond Theatre Ensemble presents Hangman School for Girls in association with Fullstop Collective. The show will feature Nick Afka, Louiza Collins, Lucy Gillespie, Sarah Ann Masse, Lillian Meredith, and Briel Pomerantz. The production will play at Manhattan Theatre Source (177 MacDougal Street), March 10-27, Thursday through Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm with additional performances on Monday, March 22 at 8pm and Saturday, March 27 at 2pm. Advance tickets ($15) are available by calling 1-866-811-411 or online at www.theatermania.com. $20 tickets will also be available for purchase at the door.
Open Auditions Announced for North American Tours of BILLY ELLIOT 3/13

Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions will be holding open auditions in Toronto on Saturday, March 13 to find boys ages nine through twelve to play the roles of ‘Billy' and ‘Michael' in the North American companies of Billy Elliot the Musical. The auditions will take place at 509 DANCE (509 Parliament Street at Carlton Street) in Toronto. Sign-up will begin at 12:30 p.m.

According to the New York Times, the hit Broadway musical Billy Elliot will be making its way to South Korea by Auguust 2010. The producers of 'Billy Elliot the Musical' said that a Korean-language version of the show, will play in Seoul. Years in the making, the South Korean production includes a cast of local actors including four young Billys.
The Directors Studios Works with ACTivation to Create its First Film

The Directors, which is the parent company of The Directors Studios, is producing its first film this spring for a new start-up company, ACTivation. With a working title of 'Set to Spark,' by Trista Baldwin, this will be the first film in a library of online content that ACTivation will make available to teachers, parents, community leaders and other youth influencers.

David Del Rio is making his Broadway debut as Sonny in In The Heights. A recent graduate of the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, School of Film & Television, he is best known for his starring role in Nickelodeon's supernatural hit comedy, 'The Troop,' where Del Rio plays Felix, a shy teen trying to keep the global monster population under control. Del Rio's previous stage credits include The Elephant Man, Next to the Last Hamlet, The Odyssey and Joe: The Musical. He recently spoke with BroadwayWorld about premiering on the Great White Way, joining the Heights family and more.

Organized by REDCAT Gallery Director and Curator Clara Kim and Doryun Chong, Associate Curator of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, this exhibition brings together the work of two rigorous visual artists--Seoul-based Korean artist Park Chan-Kyong and Tokyo/Kiev-based American artist Sean Snyder. The two artists first met in Germany in 2002, and their shared interest in North Korea and the politics of the Cold War led to this initial encounter and becomes the impetus for this two-person exhibition titled Brinkmanship. The exhibition will feature new works by Park and Snyder developed over an extended period of exchange and conversation during the preparation of this exhibition, alongside recent works that will provide a broad context for their respective practices.
