From 31 May 2010 Genevieve Lemon will join the London cast of the multi-award winning Billy Elliot the Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre to play Billy's dance teacher Mrs Wilkinson. Lemon, a seasoned musicals performer in her native Australia, will make her West End debut as Mrs Wilkinson as the show enters into its sixth year in London.

TBS and Just For Laughs have announced the lineup and airdate for a new TBS special that will be taped during the second-annual edition of TBS PRESENTS A 'VERY FUNNY' FESTIVAL: JUST FOR LAUGHS this June in Chicago.

Sienna Miller may be making her return to the London stage in the Trevor Nunn-directed Birdsong, by Sebastian Faulks, The U.K. Sunday Telegraph is reporting. She was last seen on the West End in the Young Vic's 2005 production of As You Like It. Birdsong is scheduled to open at the Comedy Theatre On 29 September 2010, with previews beginning on 18 September. It is rumored that she will be co-starring alongside Dan Stevens.

Syfy has inked award winning director/executive producer Jack Bender as director/executive producer for the action-adventure 90-minute pilot, Alphas (working title) from writers Zak Penn (X-Men: The Last Stand, Fantastic Four, The Incredible Hulk) and Michael Karnow, it was announced today by Mark Stern, Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Syfy and Co-Head of Content for Universal Cable Productions, which is the studio for the project. Bender just wrapped six seasons as an executive producer and director on the critically acclaimed series LOST, and directed Sunday's much anticipated series finale. Alphas is executive produced by Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun for BermanBraun Television and is slated to commence production in Toronto this summer.

Jacob's Pillow announces its 2010 full season calendar, including more than 200 free performances, talks, photography exhibits, tours, and events. Free event highlights include the Blake's Barn exhibit Lois Greenfield: Imagined Moments, featuring Greenfield's signature dance photography, and 'Let's Dance!' a new community event on July 4 with free dance classes and workshops for teens and adults. PillowTalks, held Thursdays at 5pm and Saturdays at 4pm, include Virginia Johnson, recently named Artistic Director of Dance Theatre of Harlem (June 24), choreographer/director Bill T. Jones (July 22), and the return of Pulitzer Prize winner Jules Feiffer (July 31). Inside/Out performance highlights include the all-female hip-hop group Decadancetheatre (July 7), the dancers of The School at Jacob's Pillow's first ever Tap Program (July 10), alumnus of The School at Jacob's Pillow and Artistic Director of his own ensemble, Avi Scher (July 23), and ¡Flamenco Revolución! TNT and TBS today unveiled a broad array of plans for new programming, including several comedy projects that are being considered for TBS and a host of projects in development for TNT. Billy Elliot on Broadway will play a new performance schedule beginning May 31, 2010: Wednesday - Saturday at 8pm, Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm, Sunday at 2pm and 7:30pm.
