World Premiere of FINISHING SCHOOL Set for Bath House Cultural Center, 3/5-22

Dallas actors Larry Randolph, John S. Davies, Ellen Locy and Catherine DuBord star in 'Finishing School,' a new two-act, four-character comedy by Dallas playwright Elaine Liner. The play makes its debut March 5-22, 2014, produced by the all-matinee One-Thirty Productions at Dallas' Bath House Cultural Center. Gene Raye Price directs.

TV Land Developing Animated HOT IN CLEVELAND Episode

TV Land has announced today that it will produce an animated episode of its hit original sitcom 'Hot in Cleveland.' Animation Studio Titmouse, Inc. will create the art for the episode, which will be part of the fifth season of the series.

Canadian Rep Theatre kicks off the new year with the English-language premiere of Pacamambo by Quebec's award-winning Wajdi Mouawad, translated by Shelley Tepperman, and directed by Canadian Rep Artistic Director Ken Gass. This emotionally powerful and lyrical work opens January 21 and runs to February 2 (previewing from January 18) at The Citadel in Regent Park. Pacamambo, premiered in French in Montreal in 2000. Conceived as a play for children about death, it is a life-affirming and magical theatre experience for audiences of all ages. It tells the story of Julie, a young girl teetering between denial and rage, who disappeared for 23 days until discovered in her grandmother's apartment basement storage locker with her dog, Growl, and the badly decomposing body of her grandmother.

OSM Accepts Grand Orgue Pierre-Beique

Today marked the acceptance of the Grand Orgue Pierre-Beique by the OSM at its home, Maison symphonique de Montreal. This major stage, which confirms that production of the organ is now complete, begins the break-in period for the instrument, which will culminate with the inaugural concert on May 28. The event took place in the presence of Olivier Latry, OSM organist emeritus and titular organist at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris, whose role for the occasion was to carry out acceptance of the instrument, and Jacquelin Rochette, artistic director at Casavant Freres, who received the acceptance.

Stage Set for Fugard's 'Master' at Luna Stage, January 30 - March 2

Luna Stage continues its mainstage season with a revival work by South African playwright Athol Fugard - produced in commemoration of South Africa's 20th anniversary of Freedom Day. "Master Harold"…and the boys opens Thursday, Jan. 30 and runs through Sunday, March 2.
