The Colorado New Play Festival (CNPF) (formerly the Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival) is proud to announce the participating theaters for the 2018 season. the cell (Founding Artistic Director Nancy Manocherian, Artistic Director Kira Simring) will grant four artists each a month-long residency as part of its 2018 season. This new residency program grants selected artists the use of the venue for a month and the resources needed to develop a project of their choice that will be presented at the end of their one-month term.

Telemundo announced today additional music superstars to join the line-up of performers at the upcoming 2018 Billboard Latin Music Awards. Rapper and social media powerhouse, Cardi B, popular Colombian singer, J Balvin, Colombian reggaeton singer and songwriter, Karol G,renowned rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer, Quavo, and international superstar Ricky Martinjoin the previously announced slate of performers at the awards ceremony including Calibre 50, Chayanne, Christian Nodal, CNCO, Maluma, Maná, Nicky Jam, Ozuna and Sofia Reyes. The most prestigious awards show in the Latin music world is celebrating 20 years on Telemundo, broadcasting live on Thursday, April 26 at 7pm/6c, starting with the arrival of the stars on the red carpet at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will also air simultaneously on Spanish-language entertainment cable network, Universo. At an event celebrating the nonprofit theater's eighth anniversary, the Executive and Artistic Director of New Britain Youth Theater announced a new season and a name change for the company.

From Shakespeare to Disney, we have always been fascinated with Witches. Their magic and mystique has been the inspiration for fairy tales, books, movies and music.

The Arvada Center has announced its 2018-2019 season, a diverse line-up of plays and musicals. The three musical and four play season includes a world premiere play, two regional premieres, and a Broadway smash-hit. The season also marks the third year of the Black Box Repertory Theatre, a company of actors who will perform three of the Black Box Theatre's four plays in repertory. The 2018-19 Theatre Season is sponsored by Lutheran Medical Center.

Late Night Theatre at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa ignites the stage in April with the world premiere of TONY THE FANTASTIC FIREMAN! LIVE: ONE SHOW ONLY. Written by UH Manoa undergraduate theatre major, Malia Wessel, this new dark comedy shows what happens when a well-known children's television show host sabotages his own career during a live broadcast, despite the efforts of those around him. Filled with silly songs and playful existentialist humor, this original work is sure to leave an impression.  

A new song is out called "We Sing for Martin Luther King," featuring acclaimed musicians Liz Queler on lead vocals, Seth Farber on piano, organ, vocals, and Joey Farber on guitar, bass, and drums, based on lyrics and music written by poet and writer Holly Peppe in 1968. As the date of April 4 th, 2018 marks the 50 th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s passing, Dr. King's inspiring work and dream of peace, unity, social equality and justice continue to remain as important as ever in the struggles facing our nation today.
