Bringing artists from all over the world, and from most every genre, the Harris Center for the Arts at Folsom Lake College - formerly known as Three Stages at Folsom Lake College - will offer literally hundreds of performances in 2013-14. Beginning in late July, 2013 and extending into spring 2014, the new season includes world-class performers like Kenny Loggins, Seinfeld's Jason Alexander, and Savion Glover; Broadway productions such as Peter and the Starcatcher, The Addams Family and Bring It On: The Musical (all of which are appearing in the capital region for the first time ever); and an unprecedented season of dance in Folsom which kicks off with Alonzo King LINES Ballet and also features Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Bellydance Superstars, Ballroom with a Twist, and return visits of the popular Moscow Festival Ballet's Swan Lake and Diavolo Dance Theatre; and many more, all on the stages at the Harris Center.

BANDALOOP, the Bay Area's acclaimed vertical dance company, is proud to present Harboring, a new hour long, multi-dimensional dance by Amelia Rudolph in collaboration with assistant artistic director Rachael Lincoln and the dancers of BANDALOOP, with art direction by celebrated designer Jack Carpenter. Staged in and around Fort Mason Center's iconic Festival Pavilion and inspired by Fort Mason's past and present, this world premiere moves through images of travel, memory, the fluidity of the ocean, rope craft and maritime industry using the medium of site-reactive multi-dimensional dance. Harboring will engage the space and interactive set pieces including a stack of shipping containers and a swinging frame/vessel to draw the viewer into an immersive experience.

Curated by Marina Kovalyov, the exhibition will be on view today, June 16-30, 2013 at the National Arts Club and will feature over 60 pieces including bronze sculptures, graphic art and jewelry. The exhibition will showcase the artist's extraordinary craftsmanship and highly original style, which blends visual art traditions and techniques of the East and the West. The Namdakov exhibition will be part of the 11th Annual Russian Heritage Month, a celebration of events and exhibits highlighting Russian culture.
