Los Angeles-based CMH RECORDS has announced the release date for a second installment of their PICKIN' ON THE BIGGEST HITS OF THE 1980'S release.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, presents The Night of the Iguana, written by Tennessee Williams and directed by Michael Wilson.

This NYC based and internationally touring American-Brazilian collective performs a "dangerously funky" (Village Voice) and "groundbreaking" (CMJ) mixture of Brazilian maracatu drumming, New Orleans second line rhythms, funk and swamp-rock blues. They're the first American group to record in Brazil with the legendary Mestre Walter & Maracatu Nacão Estrela Brilhante, and the first Brazilian band to perform with Willie Nelson who called Nation Beat "just a fantastic group."

GRAMMY® Award-winning Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers will salute fellow Texan and music legend Kenny Rogers at the 2017 Texas Medal of Arts Awards onToday, February 22 at the Texas Performing Arts Center in Austin.  The Gatlin Brothers and vocalist Vikki Carr will perform Rogers' classic hit 'Islands In the Stream' before presenting him with theLifetime Achievement Award.  Larry Gatlin and Carr will also perform Rogers' 1980 #1 hit, 'Lady.'
