Twenty-one time Grammy Award-winning country music superstar Vince Gill will be returning to headline Atlanta's Fox Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7:30 p.m. for the first time in 25 years. Gill's last headlining performance at the Fox was in 1992, making this a historical moment for the city and fans alike.

The First Annual TAILGATE FEST will debut on Saturday, September 1, 2018 (Labor Day Weekend) on the Forum's grounds (Inglewood) in Los Angeles as a one-day country music and tailgating extravaganza. The McCallum Theatre announced today its new lineup as it begins its fourth decade of presenting world-class artists and entertainers for Coachella Valley audiences.  The new season includes McCallum debuts, iconic superstars, family-friendly entertainment, holiday sensations, with some mariachi, Bollywood, ballet, comedy and entertaining geography lessons all part of a very full and exciting season that also presents an outstanding roster of  Broadway favorites. 

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC)made its spring announcement of 18 new shows added to the 2018-2019 season, continuing to showcase chart topping musicians, compelling dance companies, groundbreaking storytellers and authors and a wide range of holiday performances, all appealing to diverse audiences. Tickets for all shows go on sale first to LBC members on Monday, April 9 at 12 p.m. and then to the general public on Friday, April 20 at 12 p.m.

AEG Presents announced this morning the full 2018 lineup for its 60th Summer Concert Series at The Mountain Winery. This year's shows will run from May 27 through September 30 and include legendary performers and top-notch talent across many genres in music and comedy. Returning icons gracing The Mountain Winery's legendary summer stage include Willie Nelson with Alison Krauss, Tony Bennett, Pretenders, Alanis Morissette, The Original Wailers, Los Lobos, Norah Jones, Lyle Lovett and The Roots. New performers include Roger Daltrey, O.A.R., The Rascals and the comedy duo #IMOMSOHARD.

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will present a very special concert, under the musical direction of Dave Cobb and Shooter Jennings, to mark the opening of the museum's new major exhibition, Outlaws & Armadillos: Country's Roaring '70s. The concert, exhibit and additional programs will explore an era of intense cultural exchange between Nashville and Austin, Texas, in the 1970s, when country music's Outlaw movement was on the rise.

Faustina Masigat's debut album is one of keen reflection and personal struggles that the Portland songwriter has assembled into relatable and beautiful prose, striking a comfortable balance between abstract introspection and objective observations. Her self-titled album, coming out this Friday on Mama Bird Recording Co. (Haley Heynderickx, Courtney Marie Andrews), is streaming in full at PopMatters who say Masigat 'develops an intuitive, captivating listen throughout.' While speaking to the process of capturing her debut album, Masigat says 'there is a mundanity in heartbreak that I struggled to break out of for years. The recording process was deliberately very bare bones because I wanted that tension to be as palpable as possible. If a person really commits to their own suffering, absolutely everything becomes colored by that action. There are songs that carry that weight more than others, but the whole album was inspired by that period of time. I had had writer's block, and it felt like I was moving from situation to situation with no anchor. Every resource I had went into writing and breaking out of that monotony.'

Lillie Mae is excited to announce a run of headline tour dates for this May and June. The run includes appearances at Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta, GA, Boston Calling Festival in Boston, MA and Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati, OH. Before the headline dates begin, Lillie Mae will hit the road with Tyler Childers for the third annual Stagecoach Spotlight Tour, held in conjunction with the Stagecoach Music Festival in Indio, CA. As part of Jazz Appreciation Month, Governor Doug Ducey has issued an official proclamation declaring April 2018 as Jazz Appreciation Month and April 30, 2018 as International Jazz Appreciation Day.  Representing Governor Doug Ducey to present the Proclamation was Barry Wong, Director of the Governor's Office of Equal Opportunity.  Mr. Wong read the proclamation to audiences at The Nash  on March 29 at the Lewis Nash Pro Jam, with Lewis Nash and Doc Jones in attendance.  The Proclamation will be on display at The Nash throughout the month.  

Guitar slinger Jesse Dayton has announced the release of this forthcoming album The Outsider, out June 8, 2018 on Blue Elan Records. In anticipation of the release, he has shared the first single “Hurtin' Behind Pine Curtain” via Guitar World. Jesse Dayton's career reads like a who's who of American music, having recorded guitars on records and film with Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, Glen Campbell and more. He has toured the world with punk legends X, filling for guitarist Billy Zoom on a 40-city U.S. tour. Rob Zombie asked him to write and record a soundtrack for his film 'The Devils Rejects,' which then lead to co-writing songs for Rob's follow up franchise film, 'Halloween 2' (which Dayton appears in playing the part of character 'Captain Clegg'). Blackbird Presents is proud to announce iconic singer-songwriter Ryan Adams will headline 'Exile on Bourbon St.,' a once-in-a-lifetime concert event set to take place Saturday, May 5 at New Orleans' Saenger Theatre. He joins longtime Rolling Stones producer and the concert event's music director, Don Was, and an all-star group of musicians to perform one of the greatest albums in music history, Exile on Main St., in its entirety. Additional musicians to be announced in the coming weeks.

Long before he rose to fame in 1996's "Sling Blade," Thornton had a passion for music, playing in numerous bands and even working as a roadie before starting his own band, The Boxmasters. Playing what they refer to as "psychobilly"- a combination of '60s hillbilly music and British invasion rock- The Boxmasters have established a cult following and will kick off their latest "Speck Tour" on July 6th at the Lincoln Theater in Yountville, CA.
