The Landing Theatre Company, Houston's professional company dedicated to advancing American Playwriting continues their season with Dylan Lamb's Ten Ways On a Gun, based on The Ballad of Tommy Freely conceived by Jessica Person & The Soul Motion Architects, that recently had a successful run off-Broadway this past October.

The Underfunded Film Festival will showcase the winning movies, shorts and music videos as part of Film Quest on Monday, June 27th. Screenings will begin at 6pm at the Megaplex-17 Theater in Jordan Commons shopping area in Sandy, Utah.

June also brings a host of local talent including Adagio, Willie K, Paula Fuga, Darren Benitez, Hotclub of Hulaville, Rolando Sanchez, Little Albert and Jake Shimabukuro. Blue Note Hawaii also continues Gospel Brunch every Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. show time and doors opening at 11:00 a.m.

May also brings and a host of local talent including Willie K, Mike Lewis, Robert Cazimero, the Hawaii Jazz All-Stars, the Honolulu Jazz Quartet and a Mele Mei Celebration with Henry Kapono and Friends. Blue Note Hawaii also continues Gospel Brunch every Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. showtime, with doors opening at 11:00 a.m.

Expanding its commitment to showcase local artists and stars of the Hawaii music industry, Blue Note Hawaii begins a series of one-night only performances featuring Ginai on April 11, Natalie Ai Kamauu on April 18, the incomparable Willie K on April 19, trumpeter Mike Lewis on May 2 and Hiroshima-known for their unique East Meets West contemporary jazz sound-from April 26 to May 1.

Hilton Worldwide (NYSE:HLT) announced today the signing of a franchise license agreement to open DoubleTree by Hilton Hilo-Naniloa, which will join DoubleTree by Hilton's 100,000-room portfolio and nearly 40,000-room global pipeline. The oceanfront property, formerly the Hilo Naniloa Hotel and Golf Club, will undergo an $18.5 million large-scale transformation. The 12-story, 3-tower, 388-room property plans to fully convert in December 2015.

The Las Vegas Philharmonic's first Pops Series concert for the 2014-15 season will celebrate the strong connection between the tropical paradise and our desert oasis by showcasing traditional and popular Hawaiian music in a program called 'Aloha from Las Vegas.' The concert will take place tonight, November 15th at 7:30PM in Reynolds Hall, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts.
