Lincoln Center Theater's Tony Award winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC, directed by Bartlett Sher, will play its 500th performance this Saturday night, June 13, at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
The 54th Annual Drama Desk Awards were held tonight, Sunday, May 17, 2009 in the LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Drama Desk nominees received their official Nomination Certificates at a cocktail reception on Friday, May 1st at Il Bastardo restaurant, 191 Seventh Avenue (between 21st and 22nd Streets).

SOUTH PACIFIC star Paulo Szot, who won the Tony for his performance as Emile de Becque and was on leave starring in a production of Carmen for Opera Toulouse returns tonight, Tuesday, April 14.
Laura Osnes and David Pittsinger joined the cast of Lincoln Center's SOUTH PACIFIC on March 10. The pair took over for Kelli O'Hara and Paulo Szot in the Tony Award-winning Rodgers & Hammerstein musical.
Tonight (March 10) Laura Osnes will assume the role of Ensign Nellie Forbush replacing Kelli O'Hara and David Pittsinger will again take over the role of Emile de Becque.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced today three upcoming cast changes in three featured roles in its award winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's South Pacific, directed by Bartlett Sher at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. Beginning Tuesday, January 6, Andrew Samonsky will assume the role of Lt. Joseph Cable, Eric Anderson the role of Stewpot and Matt Caplan the role of Professor, succeeding, respectively, Matthew Morrison, Victor Hawks and Noah Weisberg.
