THE GAME'S AFOOT is written by Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, The Fox on the Fairway, Crazy for You, and Moon Over Buffalo) and directed by Drury Lane Theatre Artistic Director William Osetek (Young Frankenstein and next to normal at Drury Lane Theatre).

BroadwayWorld.com has exclusively learned that Sherlock Holmes may be headed to the stage in the coming Broadway seasons. Tony Award Nominated producer Antonio R. Marion (Big Fish, Evita) is said to be sheparding the project that is currently in the developmental stages. The production is set to be a brand new version of the beloved stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle that will be presented in the format of a play while a live orchestra underscores the drama and action.

The Minstrel Players Theatre Company of Northport Village will be staging the Long Island premiere of Ken Ludwig's 2012 Edgar Award Winning play for Best Mystery --- 'The Game's Afoot'. This play is a follow-up to Ludwig's 'Postmortem' which the Minstrels staged a few years earlier. Performances of 'The Game's Afoot' will be over two weekends on Saturday, October 25th and November 1st at 8 P.M and 3 P.M. matinee performances on Sunday, October 26th and November 2nd at Houghton Hall - Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 Main Street in scenic Northport Village.

Dallas Theater Center brings the world's greatest detective to the stage in Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, written by Steven Dietz and directed by DTC Artistic Director Kevin Moriarty. Audiences will be thrilled by Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, which is based on the original 1899 play by William Gillette and Arthur Conan Doyle and opens in previews on April 25 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through May 25 at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. As Sherlock Holmes seeks to wind down his career through the arrest of Professor Moriarty, he and Doctor Watson are drawn into a blackmail case that involves a king and a world-renowned opera singer, putting them on a collision course with Holmes' greatest enemy.
