Dorrance Dance and Paris Opéra Ballet will kick off Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival 2021 in its opening week later this month. Dorrance Dance's performances mark the first live, in-person performances at the Pillow since 2019, while at the same time Paris Opéra Ballet will stream exclusively online for two weeks - a first for the Festival.

Miami City Ballet (MCB) welcomes nine new dancers to the company, bringing this season's roster to 53. The Paris Opera Ballet has taken its annual fundraising gala to the virtual stage this year. Ballet Défilé, presenting the Paris Opera dancers from the petits rats up to the Etoiles, opens the 6th edition of the Opening Gala. Gathering the works of three different choreographers, this evening presents a blend of classicism and modernity. 

In accordance with local and state COVID-19 guidelines and in the interest of the health and safety of artists and audiences, Boston Ballet has announced the cancelation of off the chART (May 6–16) and ChoreograpHER (May 20–30).

Given the ongoing uncertainties delaying the prospect of reopening institutions that welcome the general public, the Paris Opera is once again having to review its artistic programme and adapt its activities.

Since establishments receiving audiences must remain closed until the end of January 2021 at the earliest, the Paris Opera is once more compelled to cancel performances scheduled over this period and to review its artistic programme for the first half of the year.

San Francisco Ballet has announced details for its first-ever virtual benefit, Leap Into the New Year, to be held online via Socio on Thursday, January 14, 2021 to mark the opening of SF Ballet’s historic 88th Digital Season.

New York City Ballet today announced that it will be unable to perform at the David H. Koch Theater during the winter and spring of 2021 due to continuing health concerns and mandatory New York State and New York City regulations prohibiting large-scale, live indoor gatherings which are required for both NYCB's rehearsals and performances.
