Curtain Call Performing Arts' Comedy NOISES OFF Closes This Weekend, 10/25-26

Noises Off, Curtain Call Performing Arts' (CCPA) critically acclaimed stage comedy, is set to close this weekend with shows on Friday and Saturday October 25 and 26 at 8PM respectively, at the Curtain Call Performing Arts Theatre (formerly California Conservatory Theatre, CCT), in downtown San Leandro. Audiences and critics agree the show is an "ambitious and memorably hilarious hit," as expressed by Julie Grabowski of the Tri City Voice newspaper. Inside the intimate 67-seat theatre crowds have laughed the night away since September 27 and now 12 shows into the 14 show run, on Saturday night the curtain will close on this cast of seasoned Bay Area actors.

NOISES OFF Opens this Weekend at CCT, 9/27

Opening this weekend, Curtain Call Performing Arts (CCPA) presents the stage comedy, Noises Off at the California Conservatory Theatre (CCT), in downtown San Leandro. Inside the intimate theatre venue of CCT audiences will laugh all night long to the hilarious play running September 27 through October 26, as the show closes out the 2012/2013 season for the budding company.

The play was originally written by Friedrich Schiller. This production is based on the adaptation written by Peter Oswald. This production is gripping from start to finish. Pittsburgh CLO has announced casting for its summer season, which includes six shows, featuring the national tours of Come Fly Away and The Addams Family, and CLO original productions of A Chorus Line, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof and Sunset Boulevard. Notably, A CHORUS LINE brings on board a slew of the show's national tour veterans, ANNIE stars Sally Struthers as Miss Hannigan, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF features Broadway's Lewis J. Stadlen, Susan Cella, Hunter Herdlicka, Joel Robertson, Emily Shoolin and Kay Walbye. Liz Callaway and Walter Charles are set to star in SUNSET BOULEVARD.
