On August 15th, Matt Doyle (War Horse, Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie) will celebrate the release of his debut EP, 'Daylight', with a concert at Le Poisson Rouge at 10:30 PM.

The new, off-Broadway production of RENT opened last night Thursday, August 11 at New World Stages. The resurrection of the cult classic, written by Jonathan Larson, is being directed byMichael Greif, who directed the show's original off-Broadway and Broadway productions. The creative team includes choreographer Larry Keigwin, music supervisor Tim Weil, set designerMark Wendland, costume designer Angela Wendt, lighting designer Kevin Adams, sound designerBrian Ronan, and projection designer by Peter Nigrini. Co-written by composer/musical director, Will Van Dyke, 'Daylight' draws inspirations from the golden age of soul music. In addition to the original music, the EP will also include a cover of 'Lost and Lookin' by Sam Cooke.
