Over the past twenty four hours, many of America's most recognized brand names and Hollywood's biggest stars have joined millions of people around the world in sharing a modified red version of the Human Rights Campaign's (HRC) logo in support of marriage equality. HRC, the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization, launched a social media campaign Monday afternoon in conjunction with two marriage cases before the Supreme Court this week, in an effort to raise awareness and help showcase the broad and diverse support for marriage equality.
On WHITNEY's upcoming episode, titled 'Alex, Meet Lily,' Whitney (Whitney Cummings) begs Alex (Chris D'Elia) to hang out with Lily (Zoe Lister-Jones) because she is in need of a male friend. Alex reluctantly agrees, but ends up thoroughly enjoying Lily's company. Meanwhile, to bring excitement back to Low Bar, Mark (Dan O'Brien) and R.J. (Tone Bell) start up a competitive game of darts. Following the breaking news that NBC had booted its Broadway-themed series SMASH to Saturday nights, the network has announced a slew of switch-ups to its primetime schedule. Comedian on-the-rise and current star of NBC's "Whitney," Chris D'Elia, will make his first appearance on the Comix stage with performances on Friday, Apr. 26 at 8 p.m. and a double header on Saturday, Apr. 27 with shows at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and are $25 for general advance admission ($35 the day of), while VIP advance admission tickets are $50 ($60 the day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.
On next week's new episode of NBC's WHITNEY, titled 'Nesting, 'Alex (Chris D'Elia) convinces Whitney (Whitney Cummings) to celebrate their honeymoon at his parent's lake house, but they are surprised to be greeted by Alex's troubled father upon arrival. Wayne (Guest star Dean Norris) reveals to Whitney that the picture perfect marriage between he and Alex's mother is not as great as everyone believes. In the meantime, Mark (Dan O'Brien), Lily (Zoe Lister-Jones) and Roxanne (Rhea Seehorn) make themselves comfortable in Alex and Whitney's apartment and discover some weird habits their friends share. 'Nesting' airs March 13 at 8:00 p.m. on NBC.
On WHITNEY's upcoming episode, titled 'Lost in Translation,' Whitney (Whitney Cummings) can't hold back her excitement at the opportunity to reconnect with her half-sister, but when the reason behind Lauren's (guest star Natasha Leggero) visit is revealed, Whitney realizes she must support her sibling's life-changing decision. 'Lost in Translation' airs March 6 at 8:00 p.m. on NBC.
On the 'Breaking Dad' episode of WHITNEY, when Whitney's father comes for a visit and gives her $5,000, she believes he has finally changed for the better. Although Alex (Chris D'Elia) encourages her to use the money to rent an art gallery to display her photos, Whitney instead gives the money to Lily (Zoe Lister-Jones) who is desperately short on cash. Later, the money trail continues when Lily entrust Roxanne (Rhea Seehorn) to be the keeper of the $5000 but Roxanne proves to be ill prepared for the job. Dan O'Brien and Tone Bell also star. Whitney airs on NBC on Wednesday, February 20 at 8pm.

Mindy Kaling, star of the hit series 'The Mindy Project,' will team up with Whitney for her inaugural show, airing Wednesday, November 28 at 10:30 pm ET/PT. Kaling, who rose to the top of the industry for her work on 'The Office,' went on to create 'The Mindy Project,' for which Fox has already ordered 24 episodes.

When Gallagher debuted at the club in 2007, The New York Times raved that "he inhabits a song so comfortably that it flows directly out, a fusion of his own personality and the character he is playing." His new show will run through November 17 at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).
