WHITNEY Star Chris D'Elia Set to Visit Comix Stage for First Time this April

Comedian on-the-rise and current star of NBC's "Whitney," Chris D'Elia, will make his first appearance on the Comix stage with performances on Friday, Apr. 26 at 8 p.m. and a double header on Saturday, Apr. 27 with shows at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and are $25 for general advance admission ($35 the day of), while VIP advance admission tickets are $50 ($60 the day of). A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets. The show is 21+ and is for mature audiences only.

Recently named one of Variety's "Top 10 Comics to Watch," D'Elia is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after young comedians in the industry today. Also a talented actor, he plays opposite star Whitney Cummings in her self-titled comedy series, playing the role of Alex, an easy-going, smart guy who sold his internet company and is happily unmarried to his longtime girlfriend. He has appeared on "Workaholics" as Topher, and is next set to begin shooting his first hour-long special for Comedy Central that will air in April.

D'Elia's list of impressive credits includes additional appearances on the small screen, most notably in TBS' "Glory Daze" and Showtime's "Live Nude Comedy." He can also be seen in his own half-hour special, "Comedy Central Presents: Chris D'Elia," currently airing on Comedy Central, and is featured on the "Ten Minute Podcast with Bryan, Chris & Will."

A Los Angeles resident, D'Elia has quickly become a regular at the hottest comedy spots in Hollywood, logging multiple performances a week to hone his craft. Best known for his physical humor, he has now begun crisscrossing the country performing his stand-up act.
