On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.

For the fourth show in their 45th anniversary summer season, Cortland Repertory Theatre presents the regional premiere of the exciting murder mystery 'Cards on the Table' adapted by Leslie Darbon from the novel by Agatha Christie. 2016 marks ten years since taxdeductible theatre began pulling plays out of a hat-literally.  The company, which is dedicated to creating new works of theatre through collaboration, recently announced plans for a one-night-only retrospective, taking place on June 29th.  The company will present selected works from the history of their series The Dare Project, including fan favorites and milestones in the company's development.

Project: Theater (producers of the critically acclaimed Occupation and the monthly Our Bar series) has announced the US premiere of UNITY (1918), written by Kevin Kerr and directed by KJ Sanchez. UNITY (1918) begins performances on Thursday, August 6 for a limited engagement through Sunday, August 23. Press opening is Sunday, August 9 at 7 PM.
