London Classic Theatre today announce a new UK tour of Bernard Slade's Same Time, Next Year. Michael Cabot directs Kieran Buckeridge (George) and Sarah Kempton (Doris) in one of the world's most widely staged plays, originally produced on Broadway in 1975.

The Watermill Theatre is offering a digital version of its critically acclaimed Christmas production THE JUNGLE BOOK, available to watch on demand until Tuesday 28 December.

Following the triumphant return of live work at Nottingham Playhouse this autumn, today the theatre confirms its Spring and Summer Season for 2022.  The season comprises a long-awaited programme of work that was postponed from 2020 due to the first COVID 19 lockdown.

Tickets go on sale today for Rosie Day's debut play Instructions for a Teenage Armageddon at Southwark Playhouse's the Little, which will open on 9 February 2022 running until 5 March, with press night on 10 February.

HighTide and New Wolsey Theatre will present this triumphant play from Olivier Award winning Morgan Lloyd Malcolm – a work which moves forwards and backwards in time across the 21 miles between Dover and Calais as a young swimmer harnesses her mind and body to make the crossing. 

Artistic Director of Reading Rep Paul Stacey directs Beth Eyre, Dave Fishley, Samuel Kyi, Rose McPhilemy and Rick Romero in this family friendly production set on the cobbled streets of Reading.

Today, Nottingham Playhouse announced the casting for its brand new adaptation of the classic children’s story Little Red Riding Hood.   

Joining the previously announced Kirsty Besterman (Constance Wicksteed), Jasper Britton (Arthur Wicksteed), Matthew Cottle (Canon Throbbing), Ria Jones (Mrs Swabb), Thomas Josling (Dennis Wicksteed), Caroline Langrishe (Lady Rumpers), Catherine Russell (Muriel Wicksteed) and Abdul Salis (Mr Shanks), are Katie Bernstein (Felicity Rumpers), Kelvin O'Mard (Mr Purdue) and Dan Starkey (Sir Percy).

Featuring festive favourites from the musical theatre cannon, traditional carols, and more, the concert will be hosted by Tom Read Wilson and Dolly Diamond, with musical direction by George Francis and BSL translation by Paul Whittaker alongside a host of West End stars. 

ETT (English Touring Theatre) today announces the second year of its flagship playwriting programme Nationwide Voices in collaboration with five new partner theatres and companies.

Full casting has been announced for THE JUNGLE BOOK, the new musical version of Rudyard Kipling's classic tale adapted and directed by Tom Jackson Greaves, that will play at The Watermill over the Christmas period from Thursday 18 November – Friday 31 December, with two press performances on Saturday 20 November (one socially distanced).

The Barn Theatre in Cirencester have today announced the full cast and creative team for the premiere of the musical play The Brothers Grimm Present: Cinderella, which will run at the Cotswold venue from 16 November 2021 – 2 January 2022.

The producers of GOING THE DISTANCE, the world premiere digital production of a new comedy by Henry Filloux-Bennett and Yasmeen Khan, have today announced that they have extended the production's digital run until 31 October 2021, following critical acclaim.

Chelsea Halfpenny with join the cast as Jenna in the smash hit romantic musical comedy WAITRESS as from 10 January 2022. Chelsea will take over the role from Lucie Jones who leaves the production to move on to a soon to be announced new project.

Brand-new musical comedy Bluff, written exclusively for radio by Matt Cavendish and Ed Zanders is available to download on Monday 18 October, following a full studio recording with West End cast and musicians at Masterchord Studios London. The full radio-play, complete with foley sound effects, is designed to take the listener on a vivid journey through a larger-than-life world, accompanied by a live studio orchestra.

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) today announced that Naomi Sheldon will join The Comedy of Errors company to play the role of Adrianna on tour and at the Barbican this winter. Hedydd Dylan, who currently plays the role of Adrianna, will share the role with Naomi whilst the production is on tour, before leaving the company at the end of November to have her baby, when Naomi will take over permanently for the show's run at the Barbican.
