This version of the World Theatrical Presentation, performed only once before at the 2012 SXSW festival, will be staged on Tuesday, April 16 @ 8pm. The live concert experience "For The Record: Tarantino In Concert" brings the movies of Quentin Tarantino to life through the soundtracks he meticulously integrated into each of his films. Stimulate your senses this summer as everything is growing over at Rockwell: Table & Stage with For The Record: Boogie Nights. The space at 1714 N Vermont Ave no longer operates under three distinct names but instead the entire venue will be referred to as Rockwell: Table & Stage and includes a bi-level outdoor dining space as well as a newly remodeled live music performance space. While renovations will continue throughout the summer, "For The Record" co-creators Shane Scheel and Christopher Lloyd Bratten choose to present a show adapted from the works of multiple Academy Award-nominated Los Angeles director Paul Thomas Andersonfor a summer experience that Angelenos will not easily forget. The show has just been extended through August 11, 2012.
Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) today publicly announced its 2012-2013 Season, which RLTP Artistic Director Scott Behrend has favorably referred to as RLTP's 'Year of the Woman.' The 2012-2013 Season includes works by five female playwrights, three of whom have Western New York (WNY) affiliations. Among the schedule are two world premieres, two WNY premieres, and a unique revival.
