Andak Stage Company extends the schedule for their thirteenth production--and its eighth world premiere in this its fourth season--a modern rhyming verse translation of Lope de Vega's Romeo and Juliet play, The Capulets and the Montagues.
In conjunction with Vassar's 150th anniversary sesquicentennial celebration this year, the Experimental Theater at Vassar College will present three performances of Playground: The Hallie Flanagan Project, an original play by Mattie Brickman, directed by Vassar alumna Jen Wineman '00.

When one of the wittiest satirists of our time and his comedienne sister write a play together, you know it can't be anything short of hilarious. From Grammy-nominated humorist/author David Sedaris and his sister Amy Sedaris comes the crazy comedy The Book of Liz, closing February 27 at the Costa Mesa Playhouse. The play is directed by Michael Dale Brown.

Theatre Company artistic director Johnny Clark star in the Los Angeles premiere of The Mercy Seat, Neil LaBute's caustically funny examination of opportunism in the wake of tragedy. Lucy Cohu (Julia), Diana Hardcastle (Edna), Ian McElhinney (Harry), Imelda Staunton (Claire) and Tim Pigott-Smith (Tobias) will join the previously announced Penelope Wilton (Agnes) in Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, directed by James Macdonald which will run at the Almeida Theatre from 5 May - 2 July, with press night on 12 May 2011. A Delicate Balance will be designed by Laura Hopkins with lighting by Guy Hoare and sound by Ian Dickinson.
